MICHÈLE ATKINSON is a contemporary expressive figurative artist living in Montreal, Canada. She grew up in Quebec City and studied beaux-arts five years at a private school in Varennes, Quebec .  Rendering emotion and atmosphere through her drawings and paintings of the human face and form or organic subjects is her focus. She creates her mixed media paintings on paper, mylar or canvas with a technique of graphite, charcoal, acrylic and oil sticks. Her work has been represented in galleries in Montreal, Toronto and Quebec City, and traveled at Affordable Art Fairs in Florida, England and HongKong.
